Forsyth Central High School is a public high school located in Cumming, Georgia northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. Built in 1956, the school currently stands at 520 Tribble Gap Road, Cumming, Georgia 30040. It was known as Forsyth County High School until 1989 when South Forsyth High School opened its doors. It is 1 of 5 high schools in the Forsyth County School District.

Forsyth Central High School has an approximate enrollment of 2,020 (as of Spring 2008). The student body is that of mainly those of Caucasian , and Hispanic origin, with African-American students the third most prominent, and Asian students the fourth. Students are mainly drawn from Liberty, Otwell, Lakeside, and Riverwatch middle schools.
The Flash of Crimson Marching Band is based in Forsyth Central HS and led by John Mashburn with assistance by Tom Tucker and Sue Mashburn. The Flash of Crimson has won Class Champion (AA0 3 years in a row (2008,2009,2010) and 8th place finalists at Bands of America Super Regional in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009. They also traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana to compete in BOA Grand Nationals. They won 29th place out of 94 bands. The Flash of Crimson is considered one of the greatest bands in the southeast and band director John Mashburn is one of the nations elite directors.
Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, Micah Owings played baseball at Forsyth Central. Forsyth Central currently competes in Region 6-AAAA. The school has played in the region since 2002, with the exception of the period between fall 2006-spring 2008, when Central was part of Region 7-AAAAA.[1][2]
The Bulldog football team recently finished with a 1-9-0 record.
Forsyth Central's theater department is headed by Adam Pingle. It has won numerous region and state level One Act competitions. The elite performance group from FCHS's drama department is known as the Masquers (formally Maskers).
